The science sprinkled throughout was a little harder for me to understand than in the first book, but for those who appreciated it then - you will appreciate it here as well. The book talks about " Ben, the polar bear being the same color as his sister and his mom" he finds out that being white isn't as boring as he thought and that he is the same color as snow. He mixes his expert knowledge with his own life experiences. This book leaves the reader with no insight into the psychopathology of the two teenagers who killed their mother. Detailed descriptions, photograph, and wine pairings accompany her entries as well as quotes and interviews with winemakers and sommeliers. But with each passing day, Ingrid's love only grows stronger, but what hurts most of all, she's not even sure he feels the same way anymore, if ever. My children sit for hours in the afternoon and on weekends doing these workbooks. The author's approach of writing about these characters in a straight-forward factual way, gives the reader a chance to piece together the first secret that Lady Audley is keeping and eagerly I read to see what would come from the train collision confrontation that was sure to occur. Both my son and daughter have enjoyed these stories over and over again. The story has some good points;descriptive narrative and setting details; but I was disappointed in the foul language and the sexual plot lines. My four year old son loves to read them again and again.
